Lady in red

Curly hair, very fair,
Beautiful Bright eyes, with the glare,
Pink cheeks and red lips,
Pleasant face, dimples deep

Feathers on her hat, flaring around,
As she moved her head in the direction about,
She sat on the chair, in a crowded place,
Yet, she couldn’t be misplaced

Bright red silk flowing down her skin,
She looked petite yet obsolete within,
Shining was her necklace, sparking her earrings,
God’s great creation was present in real

Gently she carried herself to the stratum,
Turning heads causing the strum,
Everyone had the same thought as they looked,
God’s great creation was present in real

Everyone is looking at me – she thought,
Wonder what I did wrong,
Talking behind my back is what I see,
Maybe I am not the lady in red to be

I always try to think out of the box. i love poetry and hope to contribute my best to the field :)
